| OUR HISTORY
Devoted to the diffusion of Latin American art, particularly
the fine arts, Arte al Día Internacional is a 25 year-old publication
with strong leadership in the art market.
It was founded in 1980 by Jorge Augusto Costa Peuser with the aim of continuing
a family editorial tradition dating back to Casa Peuser, founded in 1867
by his great grandfather, Jacobo Peuser, and acknowledged both locally
and internationally as a pioneer in the industry of the graphic arts in
Argentina and South America.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to provide coverage for Latin American artists
and their work and contribute to the diffusion of the Fine Arts of Latin
America as an artistic, social and cultural phenomenon.
To generate a true Latin American art community that may
become a forum for scholars and lovers of the visual arts -collectors,
curators, art dealers, critics, artists, or simply the curious.
To provide complete information on art competitions, scholarships,
market prices, and even open new fields for expression.
To intensify multilateral exchange by strengthening
commercial ties among museums, foundations, galleries and collectors,
thus consolidating a true market for Latin American art, without privileges
or exclusions.
